It is a testament to the maturity and market readiness of technology such as ChatGPT. Already there are use cases at various stages of development across digital surveillance, medical writing, trial recruitment and more. Medtech outsourcing

Market research shows that the surge in demand for smart patient-centric medical devices will likely boost the medical devices outsourcing market. Also, the rise of chronic diseases, including cancer, cardiovascular disease and diabetes, is likely to accelerate medical devices outsourcing market development. DXC believes it is imperative for medical device manufactures to establish strong relationships with partners — who can help with product design, engineering, prototyping and manufacturing optimization through intelligent automation — to gain and maintain competitive advantages and increase speed to market.

Fraud prevention in mental health

This month the U.S. federal government Senate Committee on Finance released a “secret shopper study” report focused on mental health provider directory inaccuracies in Medicare Advantage plans. The study found that more than 80% of the identified listings for mental health providers were inaccurate or unavailable, constituting “ghost networks” that make it difficult for patients to find a provider. The opportunity exists to apply analytical methods using a variety of data sources to improve provider directories and access. It is time to use them before the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) increases audits, reviews and fines.
