Wouldn’t it be nice if
the tech we rely on to
collaborate at work
just… worked?
Smart Working Spaces is your one-stop shop for procuring, installing,
managing, and maintaining better-connected meeting spaces.
In June 2020, we recorded a live panel discussion between experts from DXC and HP. In this summary video, they discuss whether the idea of work as a place is gone forever, and explore how the enterprise has gotten smarter about helping people collaborate. They also cover how companies can keep their spaces safe in an age of social distancing. And they explain how collaboration solutions are already evolving to meet these needs.
Sound advice from the experts
To understand more about the genesis of Smart Working Spaces
and the collaboration challenges it’s designed to
solve,
we met with two experts from our partnership for a deep dive.
Luis Berlanga is a collaboration evangelist at HP’s Office of the Future. For 20 years, Luis has been telling customers across the world about the benefits of visually enabled collaboration. In this video, he explains how the events of 2020 have finally brought these conversations to the boardroom.
Rick Nunez is senior manager for intelligent collaboration, unified communications and campus connectivity at DXC. He talks about how he and colleagues are evolving Smart Working Spaces in response to the current shift in working practices.
As we return to the workplace, how do we continue to not just accommodate collaboration but make it great when work is no longer a place? In this example, you’ll see how any organization can make collaboration both more efficient and more effective, wherever employees are connecting from. You’ll also see how organizations can begin to rethink office spaces to align with new ways of working – and how they can make these large-scale transformations efficiently.
The way we work might have changed forever. In this next normal, enterprises must consider safety, hygiene, and social distancing – challenges that had rarely been a priority before. By using emerging technology – like presence detection, facial recognition, and temperature sensors connected to the Internet of Things – organizations will soon have a better understanding of their office environments, so they can make better decisions.
Users can collaborate from anywhere in the world,
on any device, without
fear of glitches, dropped connections, or poor audio.
And you don’t have to maintain an on-premises infrastructure or deal
with
multiple vendors.
Hold more productive meetings and utilize your office space better,
so
you’re always ready for your customers.
